The Border Leicester is a docile, friendly and comical breed. They are a medium sized breed with open face and legs (no wool), making them easy to shear with little waste of their lovely wool. Their wool has a lovely, mohair-like sheen which dyes well. They are a white wool breed but there are colored Border Leicesters as well.

Pictured here are our two foundation ewes, Macey and Junie. They are incredibly friendly, curious and have proven to be good mommas to their lambs.
